Our client is a leading Manufacturing business based in Northampton who are looking to recruit an experienced Accounts Assistant into their team on a part time basis. Established for over 30 years, they offer a friendly and flexible working environment.
The role will predominantly be Purchase Ledger based including processing suppliers invoices on to Sage, matching invoices to purchase orders, supplier statement reconciliations and producing payment reports. You will, however, be required to cover other areas of accounts in cases of busy periods and holiday cover.
Suitable candidates will have previous experience working within an accounts environment and strong purchase ledger skills. Experience using Sage would be beneficial but is not essential as they are happy to provide full training. You will have a good sense of humour and will have ideally worked in a manufacturing/engineering environment previously.
What’s on Offer
Our client is looking for someone to work between 20-25 hours per week. This can be over 3 full days or they can accommodate someone working school hours but must include working on a Friday. Standard office hours are 8.30am – 5.00pm Monday to Thursday and 8.00am – 3.30pm on Fridays.
They are looking to pay a salary of £21,500 pro rata (£10.50 per hour).
