Our client requires an ACA or ACCA qualified individual with post qualification experience to be responsible for managing a caseload in our Milton Keynes office. Reporting directly to partners, duties will include; planning, supervision and review of audit and accounts cases; managing staff issues and assisting staff with technical accounting and auditing problems; assisting in the generation of business for the audit function; audit of accounts typically with a turnover up to £30 million, including group accounts; preparation of business tax computations.
In order to be successful in this role you will have strong knowledge of accounting (including incomplete records) and auditing, along with previous management experience within a similar organisation. Ideally, trained within a Chartered Practice and used to dealing with small and medium sized enterprises with turnovers up to £30 million. Experience of LLPs, Pensions and Solicitors would be useful but is not essential.
You will also demonstrate excellent communication skills and have the ability to deal confidently and effectively with both clients and staff alike. Experience using the following computer packages would be an advantage, Viztopia, Benchmarking, Pertax, Alphatax and MS Suite.
